KeySecure – KMIP configuration. Configure KMIP Key Server. Navigate to the “Key Server” section. Device -> Key Server-> Key Server Under “Cryptographic Key Server Configuration”, click Add. Configure KMIP Key Server.

  1. KeySecure – KMIP configuration

  2. Configure KMIP Key Server • Navigate to the “Key Server” section. • Device -> Key Server-> Key Server • Under “Cryptographic Key Server Configuration”, click Add

  3. Configure KMIP Key Server • Enter the port (ie. 9090), select “Use SSL” and choose the SSL certificate.

  4. Configure KMIP Key Server • Key Server configured

  5. Configure KMIP Key Server • Under Advanced Security -> High Security settings, disable the creation and use of Global Keys

  6. Configure KMIP Key Server – Authentication Settings • Use CN field for Client Certificate

  7. Create Authentication User for KMIP • Navigate to the “Local Users & Groups” section. • Security -> Users & Groups -> Local Users & Groups

  8. Create Authentication User for KMIP • User created must match the name in the CN field on the Quantum certificate.

  9. Create Authentication User for KMIP • User created. • KMIP configuration completed.
