  2. Get Started! click PTZ on site server panel

  3. 4 ModesBasic/ Advance/ Auto/ Custom • click to choose one from 4 different modes

  4. Pre-Use Settings • click on PTZ pop-up panel

  5. Pre-Use Settings • Enable each PTZ camera connected to DVR machine • Select PTZ protocol

  6. Pre-Use Settings • set the ID on PTZ camera first then key the ID e.g. 1,2,3…in the address box and coordinated PTZ type to the ID

  7. Basic Mode • Default is Basic mode • now the PTZs can be used in basic pan / tilt functions and set preset positions for each PTZ

  8. How to use basic mode • Click to select PTZ camera in operation • means no PTZ camera attached

  9. Basic Mode • press to maneuver PTZ camera • press to stop panning / tilting

  10. Basic Mode • press to zoom-in / zoom-out • press to stop zooming

  11. Preset Position • right-click mouse pad • key a name in the 1st preset button box for camera1 • apply this method to each preset button for each camera Door Way

  13. Change to Advance Mode • click to choose advance mode • then select Advance

  14. Advance Mode CAMERA1 • the functions such as Iris, Focus are enabled according to the speed dome built-in protocols not DVR software itself Iris Focus Pan speed Tilt speed

  16. Advance Mode • adjusting Iris by pressing and is for auto iris adjustment • adjusting Focus by pressing and is for auto focus adjustment CAMERA1 Iris Focus Pan speed Tilt speed

  25. Auto Panning • set camera to desired left-point and right-point • press to start auto panning • when the camera is panning on the wrong side, click to invert • increase / decrease / default panning speed

  26. Another Thing to Remind • reset speed dome to original manufacture setting when encountering speed dome abnormal problems

  27. Custom • speed domes may have more built-in functions than advance PTZ accommodates

  28. Custom Setting • by enabling those functionalities, we can make PTZ more versatile

  29. Custom Setting • click to bring up dialog box • designate it a description • key in the protocol given by the speed dome manufacturer • press to enable Description Speed Dome Protocol

  30. Other Things to Remindusing joystick to control Speed Dome • select the joystick detected • move cursor to each empty box then press buttons on joystick of your own favor

  31. Demonstrations • assign each button to each dialog box • beware of running out free buttons • use a game pad with at least 11 number buttons

  32. Other Things to Remindusing Keyboard to control Speed Dome • tick the box to enable keyboard operation • move cursor to each empty box then press keyboard buttons of your own favor
