Benefits Edmodo’s benefits includes, but are not limited to allowing for collaboration between teachers across subject areas. For example a teacher who is unfamiliar with how to write pre and post assessments to show growth amongst their students can post in detail what he or she needs and other teachers who have experience or resources would respond either by trending or single response.
Added teacher benefits include the ability to upload and teach lessons via Youtube, creating assignments tailored to student needs, understanding, and accommodations. This is especially essential as it pertains to the ESL and Special needs student. Overall, teachers appear to appreciate that Edmodo allows for them to revisit previously made assignments and assessments.
Districts also can reap the benefits of Edmodo because the site has a plethora of free resources that can help with strategies and resources for struggling learners.
