Welcome to Rosehill SCHOOL HOURS • Official hours are 8:10-3:50 • Students arriving after 8:40 will be marked tardy DISMISSAL GUIDE • Newsletter sent out to School Messenger email by Principal Gloria Vasquez TRANSPORTATION CHANGES • Changes must be made in writing by 3:00PM • Students cannot be signed out early after 3:15PM ABSENCES & NOTES • You will need to send a note for an excused absence the day the student returns

Additional Information SNACKS • Please send snack separately from student lunch BIRTHDAYS • You may bring/send cupcakes for the class to have at lunch • Must be store-bought & have the nutritional label in order for the nurse to check for possible food allergens • No balloons or gifts sent to school please • If sending birthday party invitations from school, the whole class needs to be invited

Early Learning Report Card • Document learning by standard or learning target • The grade level target for each learning standard is a 3 • When a 3 has been earned, the student has met or exceeded the grade level expectations for that learning strand • While some learning strands are expected to be mastered early in the year, many of the standards do not have mastery expectations until the end of the year • You can find more information about the Revised Report Cards online • Tomball ISD Website under Students & Families and Revised Report Cards

What are we assessing? • At this time, we are looking for mastery of content NOT language • We will report the level of mastery that the student is able to demonstrate in each content regardless of the language of instruction • Language support will provided in order to support high levels of academy mastery

  11. Home Access Center If your child is needing support approaching mastery, teachers will provide a comment in the gradebook Please follow the directions to access your child’s gradebook. If you need your HAC login information please contact the school registrar • Visit the Tomball ISD District Website (www.tomballisd.net) • Click on Students and Families • Click on Grades Home Access Center (if you need your HAC login information please contact the school registrar) • Once logged in, click on Classes at the top of the page • Click on the Schedule Tab • If your child has received a mark, you will find a Blue Bubble next to Behavior Learning Targets • Click on the Blue Bubble and the notification will appear.
