  3. Why dancing? Dance is an important medium forencouraging creativity and nurturing social skills. It is a joyous and natural means of expressing one’s rhythmic instinct. Dance will provide opportunities for the development of co-ordination, grace and rhythmic sense through the use of movement, music and other stimuli. They also cultivate an appreciation for the heritage of other countries.

  4. The benefits of dance in our lives

  5. The number of people taking part in dance classes worldwide is increasing, with dance allowing people to be more active, socialize within local communities and develop creative skills.

  6. There are numerous benefits to taking part in dance classes ranging from increasing your amount of daily exercise to making new friends with shared interests.

  7. In the European Union the weekly exercise targets for children are currently set at a minimum of 1 hour per day for children and at least 30 minutes, five times a week, for adults.

  8. Some other benefits to increasing the amount of exercise you do are: reduced stress levels, improved relaxation, stronger bones and muscles and help to control body weight. Stress can lead to … Control your body weight!

Dance keeps both the body and the brain active, vital for people of every age. • Dance offers a way to improve strength and flexibility, which helps keeping muscles and joints healthy. • Choosing to start a new hobby can help you meet new people and make friends with those who have similar interests. • Dance helps you learn about your body, improving your posture and balance. • Taking time out in the day to take it up as a hobby can help to reduce stress levels.

Dance can lead to new career opportunities, or help build vital communication skills needed in every profession. 8. Participating in dance can help increase your self esteem and confidence through mastering new skills. 9. Dance offers a creative outlet for people to express their personalities in a safe environment. 10.Dance is a fun way to open up to new possibilities, keep healthy and enjoy yourself.

  12. Is dancing for me, too?

  13. Dance could be an activity for people who may not consider themselves as ‘sporty’. The benefit of dance is not only that of increased exercise, but the participation in an art form.

  14. Dance can also open new opportunities in terms of careers. The skills developed in dance can be valuable transferable skills that can be applied to any career path.

  15. The confidence gained through achievements in dance helps to build social skills, to increase self esteem and the ability to communicate well in a group.

  16. Staying healthy and providing maximum recreation Dancing is dreaming with your feet. You can dance anywhere even in your heart. Nothing is more revealing than dancing.as it is the mother of all arts. That is why we should dance to express not to impress.

  18. So what if the body is broken or breaking down? So what if the words express an uncertain beauty? What matters is not achieving perfection, it is, rather, the maintenance of the body and mind over time in order to tell some piece of one’s truth in the materials at our disposal.

  19. The dance, the words: these are the performances, the possessions that leave us restless for more, the idiom of movement that provides the bridge to communicate through the body, its memories and its expression, an imprint remains. This, in the end, for the dancer, is all that matters.
