  3. Patriot STAR Distribution During 2009-2010 Over 14,000 STARs were distributed in grades EC-6 Goal for 2010-2011 = remain @ 14,000 STARs (less one grade level)

  4. Student Survey Data Question measuring students “speaking and acting respectfully” at PR 95% ranked it a 3 - 5 on scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being “Very Respectful” 27% or 76 students selecting 5 42% or 120 students selecting 4 26% of students selecting 3

Other Student Ideas for Redemption But are not including on Redemption Menu Other Ideas students recommended that were frequently listed included Pizza Party, Ice Cream Party, & PJ Day STAR Team decided that we should reserve these ideas for classrooms to establish individual classroom goals where the entire class works to earn X number of STARs to redeem an activity they decide upon, such as these.

  18. Staff Questions about Redemption Process Knowing what students redeem – how will the teachers know whether or not the item redeemed has been fulfilled? STAR Team decided that we should include on the redemption menu an asterisk (*)by items that would be fulfilled by the STAR team or office staff. If no * appears by the item, then the teacher can schedule or set up the redemption themselves.
