Enhancing DoD Interfund Reporting Process Through Bulk File Upload Integration

The Department of Defense (DoD) is improving its Interfund reporting process by utilizing a bulk file upload approach into the Treasury’s Classification Transactions & Accountability (CTA) module within CARS. A dedicated workgroup is assessing the impacts of new reporting requirements for GWA/CARS compliance while working to streamline the current Interfund reporting. The goal is to consolidate three DoD Interfund report submissions through DCAS, with a completion target for process mapping and cost-benefit analysis by December 2012 and a planned change implementation by the first quarter of FY 2014.
