This initiative at Piggott School emphasizes continuous improvement (Kaizan) by integrating student voice into the educational process. In collaboration with Reading University, training days were established, beginning with Year 9 students and extending to PGCE/GTP trainees. The pilot program aimed to enhance teacher practices through peer observations, fostering more rigorous self-review and targeted teacher training. While benefits include improved student-teacher relationships and enhanced teaching, the program faces challenges due to varying staff perceptions. The next phase invites deeper student involvement in curriculum and building projects.
