Outcomes & Discussion • Data collection, archiving, dissemination, data sharing policy • Data sharing chart to be elaborated by the HyMeX ISSC • OMP possible candidate for managing SOP/EOP data base and meta-database, and IPSL possible candidate for managing the HyMeX satellite data base (data extraction, on the HyMeX domain, production of specific products,... IPSL was in charge of that action for AMMA): to be discussed within the ISSC • Need to reinforce WG5 : • Heavy precipitation and flood + droughts + water usage in relation with land use) (inputs from WG2 expected) • Plinius conference (September, 7-11, 2009 - Barcelona): Impact studies session • Dedicated WG5 meeting in fall with representatives of WG2,3 and sollicited people • 3) Fundings • The HyMeX project will not be funded as a whole • Small consortia must be set-up in relation with specific calls (e.g. AUF, CSCMED, FP7 calls  5 possible proposals with mandatory partners from the South for all calls) • Coordination is needed with the ISSC for bottom-up (information of issued calls) and top-down (coordination, help in consortium set-up,...) information

Outcomes & Discussion • Next actions • Task Team progressively set-up starting June, 15 2009 • 2nd draft of the Science Plan: September, 15 • 1st draft of the Implementation Plan: October, 15 (including first inputs of the task teams) • Responses to the identified various calls • Meetings • GEWEX teleconference (HYMEX/GEWEX boards) + meeting (Melbourne, Australia, August 2009) for GEWEX/CEOP issue • US HyMeX meeting as a side-event of the AMS conference on mesoscale processes (Salt Lake City, USA, August, 2009) for US contribution discussion • GPM meeting (Paris, France, June 2009) for estbalishing links between HyMeX and GPM community • Plinius conference (Barcelona, Spain, September, 2009) with a MedCLIVAR-HyMeX side-meeting on precipitation data rescue (MedCLIVAR) and collection (HyMeX) • THORPEX symposium (Monterey, USA, September, 2009) • WG5 meeting in fall 2009 (location to be discussed) • ISSC meeting in fall 2009 (near Munich)
