Sections 1201 and 1512 Reporting Requirements • Sect. 1201(c)(1) requires grant recipients (BIA and tribes) to submit periodic fund use reports to the covered agency (FHWA) • Reports shall be collected and compiled by FHWA and transmitted to Congress • Sect. 1512 requires entities that receive recovery funds to provide Recipient Reports

Project Rationale • To preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery. • To assist those most impacted by the recession. • To provide investments needed to increase economic efficiency by spurring technological advances in science and health. • To invest in transportation, environmental protection, and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits. • To stabilize State and local government budgets, in order to minimize and avoid reductions in essential services and counterproductive state and local tax increases.

  23. Submittal Requirements • It will be the responsibility of each BIA Region to work with their regional Tribes to assure that data is collected and reported back to FHWA. • Future access – by direct access. Level of accessibility is still being determined.
