  3. This Week: David’s Victories The Big Delay… 1) Godly Vision Trusted God’s Promises • 2 Samuel 8:14-15 ..the Lord made David victorious wherever he went. [15] So David reigned over all Israel and did what was just and right for all his people. Psalms 33:16-17 The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. [17] Don't count on your warhorse to give you victory- for all its strength, it cannot save you. Psalms 20:7-8 Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. [8] Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm.

Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord. Psalms 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Psalms 130:7 O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows. Psalms 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. [9:2] He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul’s servants. “Are you Ziba?” the king asked. “Yes sir, I am,” Ziba replied. [3] The king then asked him, “Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindnessto them.” Psalms 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
