  6. Instructional Strategies and Tasks: • I will provide students with time to search for meanings. • I will ask questions that require students to explain how they found the answers.

Objectives: • General: to enhance the general English level and to develop confidence in acquiring the four basic skills ie listening, reading, speaking and writing. • Specific: by the end of the topic, students will be able to read with concentration, learn to identify new words with correct pronunciation and comprehend the story.

Plan: We plan it before teaching: Coverage of The Subject Matter: Lesson: Mr Sharpe’s FishPg 70-73 A dialogue between Mr and Mrs Sharpe Mr Sharpe: Please cook this fish, we shall eat it at dinner Mrs Sharpe: Okay At dinner time Mr Sharpe: I am starving, what a lovely smell Mrs Sharpe: Eat noodles and vegetables. Mr Sharpe: But where is the fish I bought yesterday? Mrs Sharpe: Oh, the fish? That naughty cat ate it.
