Users can access a variety of resources, including websites and videos, via the QR Codes that have been embedded. India India, a country known for its tea and spice plantations, beautiful landscapes, and aromatic curries, has also embraced the widespread use of QR codes. The botany department of Siddhartha College of Arts and Sciences was one of the first to make innovative use of QR Codes in the classroom. The academics decided to sprinkle tiny squares, or “pixels,” amid the trees and foliage in the botanical gardens. When applied to the learning process, this novel approach provides a new avenue for information processing, which is especially helpful for students who are already flooded with data. Students can scan the image to discover the plant’s scientific name and useful characteristics. This method of “scanning to learn” is an excellent combination for in-depth education; students no longer need to “hide their heads in the sand” of a textbook but can get much more up close and personal with the subject matter being studied.

Scanning the code reveals information about the rocks and the beach’s past, bringing geology to life. The incorporation of these monochromatic patterns into the roadways has transformed otherwise mundane pavement into eye-catching historical records. • China • A tour around the world isn’t complete without a stop in China. As a technological powerhouse as well as the homeland of the panda and the king who invented chopsticks, China has embraced QR Codes. QR Codes are unquestionably popular in China, a country known for its attention-grabbingadvertising initiatives. • Even if this isn’t a brand-new application of QR Codes, it’s still a great illustration of China’s love for them. As part of a retail mall installation in China, 400 pixelated squares were illuminated and made scannable. Shoppers’ attention was drawn to the tunnel’s four walls, each of which displayed a glowing QR Code. • Spain • The creative city of Barcelona is responsible for one of the most interesting new applications of QR Codes.
