Effects of Bilateral Kainate Injection on Seizure Duration in GAERS

This study investigates the impact of bilateral kainate injection into the parafascicular nucleus on seizure duration in Genetic Absence Epilepsy Rats from Strasbourg (GAERS). Results show significant changes compared to saline injection. Injection sites reconstructed in the parafascicular nucleus are shown on a modified coronal brain section.
