Course Outline Comprehensive survey of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques including Arrow Diagram Method (ADM), Precedence Diagram Method (PDM), PERT and GANTT Charts. Project progress measurement and variance analysis, recovery schedules, resource application and leveling. Approximately 40% of the course work involves application of Primavera Contractor scheduling software.

  6. Syllabus Week 1 Introduction: Course overview, project delivery methods, project participants, scheduling basics and terminology (Chapters 1 and 2). Week 2 CPM Schedules: Determining work activities, durations and logic; critical path calculations; critical activities, barchart graphics (Chapters 4, 5 and 6). Week 3 Arrow Diagram Method (ADM): Logic conventions and calculations (Chapter 7). Week 4 ADM Graphics and Examples Week 5 1st Test
