  2. Social impact of the use of IT • Local community :Use of IT have a positive and a negative impact on the local people, shops and businesses. It will have a positive impact because the customers can find the products cheaper than it is in the actual shop, they can get in contact with other member of family from other countries, send pictures and videos through emails, other business that have online pages will get more customers. It will have a negative impact on the local shops and business because they will lose customers and that will lead to making less money and lack of business leading to firing staff, their will be less communication face to face, people not seeing or meeting each other as much as they use to see each other.

  3. Availability of jobs • There will be less jobs available because the jobs that used to be done by the humans are now done by the machines. It will have a positive impact on the company because they will have to pay less employees. Sandwich companies have 40 workers which makes 2,800 sandwiches per hour and now there are machine that makes 3,800 sandwiches per hour. It’s a positive impact because once they got the machine they will have to pay less workers, the machine does not take a break, quality will be better because the robot will put equally ingredients in each item. The negative impacts are that If the machine breaks down they need to get engineers to fix it which will cost the company money. Most of the machine can be used for dangerous jobs such as bomb defusing. The machines can work faster than humans and process faster.
