  4. The Best of the Babylonian Empire • Hammurabi made the 1st publically written laws written from 1792-1750 BCE • Built road and created a postal service • Laws came from the gods

  5. The Amazing Accomplishments of the Assyrian Empire • Created the 1st battering ram and the siege towers • Made new weapons and battle strategies • Perfected the use of horses and iron in battle

  6. The Magnificent Achievements of the Neo-Babylonian Empire • Nebuchadrezzar built the Hanging Gardens of Babylon • Created the 1st sundial • Made the 60 minute hour and the 7 day week

  7. I would like to live in theNeo-Babylonian Empire • Nebuchadrezzar seemed like he wanted the best for his people (unless he was endangered) • Babylonians skilled at mathematics and astronomy which are 2 things I love • Constructed walls to make sure Babylon was safe
