  9. Structure When planning a Presentation ensure that your plan includes: • Clear beginning and end – (most remembered parts of a session) • Timing – how long does it take? • Balance- a range of activities

  10. Visual Aids • Props • Flip Chart • OHP • Handouts • Powerpoint

  11. Aides memoires • Reading from notes • Reading from scripts

  12. Nerves! • What effect can nerves have on your performance? • How can you reduce the effect of nerves?

  13. The three R’s…… • Research, research, research • Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse • Relax, relax, relax
