A time capsule is like a window that lets you see what or how things happened in the past .A fossil is like a time capsule because how would paleontologists find out how things or what things happened during the Mesozoic era.

3. How are fossils like a time capsule? Fossils are a lot like a time capsule because it shows you the past and it shows the things that might of happened to it like the time capsules we make. Fossils are like a time capsule like the ones we make because it shows us old memories or things we did in the past. Dinosaur fossils are a great example of a time capsule because we would know what happened to them and maybe how they act, it depends on the fossil. When people look at a fossil they can tell that it came from millions of years ago just like the time capsule that we have
