  3. WHEN can you come??? 7:30 - 3:45 Monday – Friday During LUNCH (no pass) During class WITH A PASS FROM YOUR TEACHER

  4. WHAT can you do in the library? Research for class assignments. Print or Photocopy 10 cents per page for black and white 25 cents per page for ½ page color, 50 cents for whole page color READ magazines, books, newspapers. Use your laptop and access internet. Work with groups of students on classroom assignments.

  6. Book Checkout Use BTW Library Catalog (on all computers) to find books Log in to your account. Username: Your ID. Password: your Last Nam Checkout up to 4 books at a time. May recheck. Magazines: overnight check out Fines = 5 cents per day. Maximum $3 per overdue book http://destiny.tulsaschools.org

  7. EXPECTATIONS Library computers are for RESEARCH! (not games, music videos, sports videos) Cell Phones will be sent to the Dean to be picked up after school. Food or Drink remains OUTSIDE library doors. Quiet, respectful attitude for others in library trying to read and study is expected.

  8. SUCCESSFUL Hornets Use Research Databases instead of Google – why? FREE PRINTING $$$$$ Accurate information, email from school to home, how to cite, multiple types of information. Use the internet – but evaluate the quality of the information. Do not plagiarize.
