For Irene, her interests lie in becoming a Dental Hygienist or Dental Laboratory Technician. She recognizes the importance of taking biology, math, and chemistry classes for these careers. With a target on Brooklyn and the Bronx, Irene plans to apply to New York City College of Technology or Hostos Community College due to a lack of suitable programs in Queens. Admissions involve submitting an application with fees, possessing a high school diploma or equivalent, and meeting immunization requirements.

My Education Plan Irene De La Cruz
My interests • I only have two interest and they are Dental Hygienist and Dental Laboratory Technician. You don’t really major into anything to be a dental hygienist or dental laboratory technician but I think I will have to take biology, math and chemistry as required classes.
Schools • There are two community colleges that I want to attend and they are in Brooklyn and the Bronx. The cuny in brooklyn is called “New York city college on technology, and the one in the Bronx is called “Hostos Community College”. The reason why I might go to one of these two is because there isn’t any community colleges in queens with my careers of interest.
Admissions requirements • To apply for admission to New York City College of Technology, you must: File a formal application prior to the semester in which you plan to register. Application must be accompanied by a non refundable $65 fee (freshmen) or $70 fee (transfer) (money orders only). • Have a high school diploma or the high school equivalency diploma. The latter should be accompanied by proof of satisfactory final score and a statement of diploma issuance. • A new immunization law requires all students born on or after January 1, 1957 enrolling at New York City College of Technology to be immunized against mumps, measles and rubella.
