  1. Knowing All About Rafting Outdoor and adventure sports, rafting is increasingly popular with a neophyte audience. The raft, more accessible than the kayak or the canoe, allows the novice paddlers to discover the joys of the white water. Here is what you need to know before you go rafting Brahmaputra or elsewhere. Rafting Brahmaputra is a sporting or recreational activity that involves sailing in open water (that is sections of a river with rapids) on board a raft. The raft is an inflatable flat bottom boat, which is very stable and totally unsinkable. It therefore allows novice paddlers to cross rapids, with the presence of a river guide on board. Its large capacity also makes it possible to bring food and equipment. Rafting Brahmaputra, which requires a fairly good physical condition, is practiced in two forms – raft to paddle (with several crew) and raft to rowing (in individual). The raft to paddle is the most common practice. It allows learning to rafting in group and with the help of a guide who directs the raft of the back and gives instructions to manoeuvre the boat. Safety instructions are given by the guide before departure to be able to face any fall in the water, unintentionally or deliberately.
