  5. Defensibility Why do we need to worry about defensibility? Examples from PG&E for a reality check…. Can you think of industries that require training defensibility? Do we have to worry about defensibility for all training? What do you think?

What makes training defensible? • Consistent process • Identify appropriate targeted audience • Incorporate current adult learning theories throughout • Guidance documents • Direct alignment between training objectives and testing • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) involvement • Checkpoints to ensure defensibility…That’s where I come in! • Task Analysis → Assessment & Remediation Strategy→ L2→Cutscore→Result Analysis Documentation, documentation, documentation!
