MISSION STATEMENT The Assumption College American Marketing Association collegiate chapter, commonly referred to as GAME, exists to build a foundation for advancing education by applying marketing and business concepts to a broad spectrum of organizations. Through effective collaboration, we strive to obtain professional experience to enhance our understanding of how marketing adds value to today’s society.

  3. OUR CLUB • Officially chartered by the AMA in January of 2010 • AMA is the largest professional marketing organization in North America • Advisor: • Dr. Cary LeBlanc, Assistant Professor Marketing/Management

  4. EVENTS • Guest speaker presentations • Off campus field trips • Business related community service • Community Harvest affiliation • Networking and resume writing workshops • Etiquette dinner • Participation in AMA competitions

  5. GUEST SPEAKERS & FIELD TRIPS • Past Years: • Dunkin’ Donuts • WGBH • Dannon • Hasbro • Wachusett Mountain • Sneak Peek of This Fall’s Calendar: • VP of Marketing from Alex & Ani • Field trip to Wachusett Brewery

CASE COMPETITION • Smaller group of GAMErs, voluntarily choose to take part in the AMA Collegiate Case Competition during first semester each year • Extended case competition which the group oversees from start to finish • Provides GAME members the opportunity to work together on a problem that typifies a real, working marketing situation • 10 best entries from across the country present their ideas for the actual company’s executives in New Orleans Last Year: Donate Life America—This Year: Hershey Company

NEW ORLEANS Annual AMA Collegiate Conference in New Orleans each March • Guest speakers from prominent, worldwide organizations, including marketing giants Google and McDonalds • 50+ peer-taught seminars on how to improve your AMA chapter • Watch the winning college’s case competition presentation • Networking, both with peers and professionals

  8. In 2013, GAME was awarded a plaque for Outstanding Chapter Planning. In 2012, we won 3rd place in the AMA Saves Lives video contest!
