  2. STANDARD 1 Patients who need further investigation after consultation will be guided to the Out Patient Billing counter.

  3. STANDARD 2 The billing executive will collect the doctor's prescription/investigation catalog from the patient and inform them of the estimated bill amount.

  4. STANDARD 3 The billing executive will seek permission of the patient/attendant before proceeding to process the final billing.

  5. STANDARD 4 The billing executive will ensure confidentiality of information that has been entered by the Doctor.

  6. STANDARD 5 The billing executive will check with the patient on the mode of payment and this will be done only in the billing section and on a one to one basis.

  7. STANDARD 6 When a billing agent is busy with one guest, all waiting guests will be acknowledged immediately in not more than 5 minutes and they should be assured of prompt service.

  8. STANDARD 7 After the mode of payment is confirmed, the final bill will be printed and handed over to the patient/attendant in a neat and clean Apollo folder.

  9. STANDARD 8 The billing agent should always have a smiling and welcoming look on the face.

  10. STANDARD 9 If the Billing agent needs to get the signature of the guest in the charge slip, the same will be presented to the guest in small Apollo folder with an Apollo pen.

  11. STANDARD 10 If the credit card gets declined, the same message will be passed on to the guest very discreetly, and not in open public.

  12. STANDARD 11 In case the patient/attendant is paying by cash, remaining amount to be returned (if any) will be handed over in a tray.

  13. STANDARD 12 The billing desk will hand over the Invoice copy in a neat and clean folder to the guest, and explain in detail the complete process of investigation along with preparatory measures for the same.

  14. STANDARD 13 The guest will be informed of the total time duration that will be taken for the investigation process.

  15. STANDARD 14 The guest will be guided to the investigation counter/room for him/her to complete the procedure.

  16. STANDARD 15 The entire billing experience will be completed within 20 minutes.
