  1. Haiyang Zheng Edward A. Lee HyVisual: a Hybrid System Visual Modeler http://chess.eecs.berkeley.edu Overview Hybrid systems are systems with continuous-time dynamics, discrete events, and discrete mode changes. HyVisual is a hybrid system visual modeler that supports construction of hierarchical hybrid systems. It uses a block-diagram representation of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) to define continuous dynamics. It uses a bubble-and-arc diagram representation of finite state machines to define discrete behavior.A few examples are presented to illustrate how to construct deterministic and non-deterministic hybrid system models.
