  1. AIDS Foundation of Chicago 5K Run/Walk 2009! When:Sat. Oct 3rd 2009 (7:30 am - 1:00 pm) Where:Grant Park (meet at SCE) How:Register online and join the UIC for COIP team https://afc.aidschicago.org/NetCommunity/SSLPage.aspx?pid=785. Registration cost is $25. We'll be walking or running (your choice) together and then have pizza after. Why: Support the UIC Community Outreach Intervention Program (COIP). COIP provides outreach and intervention services to reduce the risk of and transmission of HIV and AIDS among high risk populations in Chicago. Recently, the grant funding was cut, and we are working to keep this much needed program funded now and in the future.
