  2. She was freed from a fishing net by trainers in the Clearwater Marine Hospital association in 2005

  3. She then had undergone a surgery amputating her tail

  4. She was later given a prosthetic tail

  5. Since then she has been greeting hundreds of visitors everyday at the Clearwater Marine Hospital

  6. A website was than started to raise money and gain attention from visitors toward Winter

  7. Visitors and tourists began drawing attention to Winter. Then the documentary film titled “Winter the Dolphin that Could” was released

  8. In 2011-2012, the movie “Dolphin Tale” was released drawing even more attention from adults and children around the world

  9. No matter what, she will remain an inspiration, millions around the world have been touched by her inspiring story
