  2. Idea Living in Arizona in the summer can be fairly miserable, particularly when you have to get in your car to go anywhere. Sitting in the sun the interiors of cars can get extremely hot and can take quite some time to cool down. We wanted to come up with a way to cool the car down without actually having to turn the car on and consume gas, especially with todays high gas prices.

  3. Concept • Mount a solar panel on the roof of the car to power the cars A/C unit without having the car running.

  4. Features • Allow user to power A/C separately or in tandem with the cars battery. • Allow user to cool down car before they get in to go somewhere (possibly remote A/C start). • Use extra power from solar panel to trickle charge cars battery.
