Objectives and expected outcomes 1 Objective: Broad take up of SUMP by involvement and activation of the national level by addressing their cultural differences Focus/topics: • Activating cities by strong involvement of the national level - develop or improve national level programmes • Support system for PROSPERITY partner cities as they act as living labs. • Innovative capacity building and training (up to 8 new topics)

Objectives and expected outcomes 2 Expected results and impacts: • National SUMP programmes in all participating countries • Pilot national SUMP assessment scheme • Manual for a successful SUMP adoption in NMS and convergence regions • 13 three-year programmes on tailor-made national SUMP promotion activities • >350 persons from 200 Cities will be trained and 300 participants at webinars • 11 PROSPERITY partner cities started, developed or improved existing SUMPs, 50% will be at implementation stage plus at least 250 follower cities
