  2. Where are we at? • What role can people in my position play to enhance cultural diversity in my college? • In what ways has the emerging role of cultural diversity impacted my work? • What questions do I have about what cultural diversity will mean for my work?

  3. How are we doing? • Are new constituencies part of our future? Are they part of your planning? • What skills are needed, and do we have them? • After all, we all want to be successful, don’t we?

  4. What does the emerging cultural landscape look like? • Almost all states will see significant changes in demographics reflecting much greater ethnic diversity. • Some regions will change more rapidly than others. • It will certainly impact your work.

  5. Between 2005-2015 • Almost 207,000 more Hispanic graduates. (+ 54%) • Nearly 46,000 more Asian/Pacific Islander graduates. (+ 32 %) • About 12,000 more Black non-Hispanic graduates. (+ 3%) • About 2,000 more American Indian/Alaska Native graduates. (+ 7%) • Nearly 197,000 fewer White non-Hispanic graduates.
