  1. WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR PHOTOSHOOT? You scheduled a photoshoot but did not know what to wear? It can be challenging to decide what to wear for your family photo shoot, and it can be your biggest struggle as you have to arrange everyone's wardrobe. You will always want to wear something comfortable that will look good in photographs. Over the last few years, we photographed families wearing a wide range of clothing options, from jeans to gowns and everything in between. And as Hilton Head Family Photographer, we have made some observations about what works and what does not. Here are things that will work in the photoshoot: 1.There are so many beautiful options for color. Since we shoot in outdoor locations, we are a big fan of including Earthy tones like brown, tan, grey, and beiges offer a great base to olive green, blue, rust and marigold. These tones photograph beautifully in outdoor spaces. 2.When it comes to fabric, we love classic cotton, but we also love non-traditional fabrics like tulle, satin, chiffon, and lace anything that allows easy movements and more of it, the better. We had like to avoid things that may show wrinkles. Adding layers like a scarf, vest, wrap, or cardigan can add more dimensions and beauty to the photograph. 3.It is possible to incorporate all three: strips, solid, and patterns in your session with the right proportion. These things are meant to add interest and not distract from the main focus, which is love and connection of the family. Here are things that do not work in family headshots Hilton Head Island: 1.So here are a few things that we try and guide families away from when it comes to clothing. We avoid logos or words on clothing and bright shades of particular colors like orange, red, and neon colors. 2.For women, we try to get away from tight or short dresses, skirts and shorts because this can limit the range of motion. We hope you found this blog helpful. We love to give ideas for your wardrobe for your family photoshoot.
