  1. 1 What to wear for a maternity photoshoot? A Maternity Photoshoot in Mumbai (or elsewhere) celebrates a new chapter in every mother’s life. It’s a way for the couple to relax and unwind before all the chaos takes place. But sometimes we overlook a few details and the pictures from the pregnancy photoshootdon’t come out as well as we had imagined it. The most common mistake is not planning the OUTFIT! We want to make sure you don’t make this mistake so here are some tips to keep in mind: 1. Too many designs spoil the picture: While planning the make sure each one of you isn’t wearing a different pattern. For example one member is wearing a checkered shirt, the other shouldn’t be wearing a floral. Plan in a way where a few are wearing a similar patterned outfit and the rest are wearing plain ones. For instance - The father and the older child can be in a checked or striped shirt, but mom can keep her outfit plain and classic. 2. Follow a color palette:

  2. 2 Especially during a couple or a family portrait, make sure everyone is following the same color palette. Pick 2 complementary colors and ensure everyone is in following the same. Also keep in mind the location you are shooting at. For example if you are going for a forest shoot, you can wear pinks and maroons; for a seaside one you can pick blues and white and if it’s an indoor shoot, pick something that matches with the backdrop. 3. Fitting is everything: This one is for the moms to be. In this shoot a lot of the focus is on the baby bump and you should flaunt it! So for the shoot either go for a gown which is flowy or go for something that has a snug fit, especially around the bump. In case you want to go for something more casual, you always have the option of a bodysuit, crop tops and even dungarees. We at Mint and Peach also provide a range of outfits when you book a Maternity Photoshoot in Mumbai or a Pregnancy Photoshoot in Mumbai or in other cities. This way you don’t have to worry about this aspect and just enjoy your shoot.
