  2. TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE AT THE COMPLETION OF THIS BLOCK OF INSTRUCTION THE STUDENT WILL: ACTION: HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE AIRCREW TRAINING PROGRAM. CONDITION: AS AN AVIATOR, OR CREWMEMBER ASSIGNED TO AN OPERATIONAL FLYING POSITION. STANDARD: IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) TC 1-210, FM 25-100, FM 25-101, AR 95-1, AND THE APPROPRIATE AIRCREW TRAINING MANUAL (ATM).

  5. PURPOSE OF ATP • DEVELOP AND TRAIN COMBAT READY CREWS AS INTEGRAL MEMBERS OF COMBINED ARMS TEAM • PROVIDE SAFE, STANDARDIZED AND REALISTIC TRAINING

  6. FOCUS OF ATP • REQUIRES ANALYSIS OF THESE THREE ELEMENTS • INDIVIDUAL TRAINING • CREW TRAINING • COLLECTIVE TRAINING. • SOURCE THAT IDENTIFIES COLLECTIVE TRAINING • MISSION ESSENTIAL TASK LIST (METL) • TC 1-210 CDR's PRIMARY TNG DOCUMENT LINKING ALL TASKS

  35. READINESS LEVELS • PROGRESSION • 90 CONSECUTIVE DAYS FROM ONE RL TO ANOTHER, TOTAL OF 180 DAYS • MAY COMPLETE IN LESS TIME • USAR CREWS HAVE 1 YEAR TO PROGRESS FROM RL3 TO RL2. • APPLIES TO ALTERNATE/ADDITIONAL ACFT QUALIFICATION & REFRESHER TRAINING

READINESS LEVELS • AFTER INVESTIGATION • CDR TAKES ONE OF FOLLOWING ACTIONS: • GRANT 30 DAY EXTENSION ( ENTERED ON IATF AND DA FORM 759) • ISSUE A WAIVER (ENTERED ON DA FORM 759 BUT NOT IATF) • APPROVED BY ONE OF FOLLOWING: • COLONEL OR ABOVE IN CHAIN OF COMMAND • COMMANDERS OF MACOMs • COMMANDER OF USAR COMMAND • CHIEF, NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU EXTENSION / WAIVER - NOT GRANTED OR TIMES NOT MET, CDR WILL SUSPEND AVIATOR AND CONVENE FLIGHT EVALUATION BOARD.
