  3. In April of 1964, the top five hits on the Billboard Charts were all by the Beatles! #5 Please, Please Me #4 I Want to Hold Your Hand #3 She Loves You #2 Twist and Shout #1 Can’t Buy Me Love

  4. The Beatles consisted of… John Lennon - Rhythm Guitar George Harrison - Lead Guitar Paul McCartney - Bass Ringo Starr - Drums

  5. McCartney Lennon Most often, Lennon wrote the words and McCartney wrote the music… This songwriting team created most of the Beatle’s 20 #1 records

  6. Beatlemania was the biggest teen craze yet. Teens mobbed airports wore Beatle wigs and bought millions of records!

  7. In 1969 a rumor was started that… Paul was DEAD! Fans found “clues” on album covers and in the words of the songs

  12. All of these clues (there are many more) and the fact that no Beatle was seen very often (no public performances since 1967) fueled speculation about Paul’s death. Every major newspaper and magazine talked about it!

  14. The Beatles broke up in 1970 John Lennon was shot in front of his apartment in 1980. George Harrison died of cancer in 2001.

  15. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive. Both stay busy recording their own music, doing concerts and working with charities.
