  2. The Chariot Chariots were two wheel carts pulls by two horses. Chariot were raced in stadium like this one.

  3. Greek Olympics. Greek Olympics were usually performed in stadiums. The Greeks invented athletic contests and held them in honor of their gods.

  4. Greek Boxing Greek boxing was very violent and had almost no rules. The people boxed until one person was knocked out, killed, or he had declared defeat.

  5. Ancient Greek Festivals The Greeks had a lunar calendar that does not correspond to ours so their holiday dates have little meaning to us. But they had many holidays. The holidays corresponded to festivals for the various deities., and served up at a banquet that was part of the festival.
