Kinds of Stations: PEG • Public Access: for use by general public • administered by cable operator or a party designated by franchising authority. • Educational: used by educational institutions for educational programming. • Time typically allocated by the franchising authority or cable operator among schools, colleges and universities. • Governmental: programming by organs of local government. • Franchising authority directly controls these channels.
