Product Overview Product Briefing • DGS-3420 is an ideal aggregation/edge solution for Enterprise, Campus & Telco or core for SMB applications • Provides L3 features including static route and RIP • Provides comprehensive IPv6 support including IPv6 Management, DHCPv6, IPv6 Neighbor Discovery (ND), DHCPv6, RIPng, IPv6 Tunneling • RichAAA, access control features including Compound Authentication, Identity driven policy (VLAN, ACL, QoS) assignment help administrators well-manage various requirements of the networks • Features with advanced Green Technology including Power Saving and Time based PoE • Provides high reliability with comprehensive OAM features including ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching), DULD (D-link Unidirectional Link Detection), CFM ( 802.1ag Connectivity Fault Management) and ITU-T Y.1731 • Q in Q and VLAN Translationsolve the 4K limitation of 802.1Q VLAN groups, it lets large ISPs enable L2 Virtual Private Networks and transparent LANs for their customers, which will connect two or more customer LANs without complicating configurations on the client-side • For the emerging worm/virus threats, D-Link Safeguard Engine can protect the device from overwhelmed by the flood traffic, hence it increases the robustness and availability of network infrastructure
