  2. Current Status • MS 3rd semester • Research Topic • Sharing Visualization in Networked Tiled Display (NeTD) Environment • Mechanism to share images, videos and graphics • Modeling the shared visualization system • Project • e-Organ • Web UI supporting SMOD and SAGE for managing NeTD • Publications (4)

  3. Task 1: Performance Analysis of NeTD Middlewares • SAGE(Scalable Adaptive Graphics Environment) • Seamless display of applications over tiled displays • Lossless streaming of rendered pixels, takes advantage of high-bandwidth networks • CGLX (Cross-Platform Cluster Graphics Library) • Allows OpenGL programs to transparently scale across tiled display cluster • Takes advantage of high-performance GPUs

  4. Task 1: Performance Analysis of NeTD Middlewares • Identify requirements, pros and cons, limitations, bottlenecks • Integrate them in a single NeTD environment • Users should be able to use NeTD middlewares based on their requirements • Both should share interactions (e.g. application window manipulation) • Design a solution to integrate best of their features for maximizing performance • Apply this solution in Visualization Sharing environment (future goal)

  5. Extend current SMOD Web UI to support SAGE Add customizations to support KAIST’s OSICC (e-Organ Simulator) Provide features to flexibly share desktop, images and videos Task 2: WebUI support for SAGE

  6. Summer Schedule • Expected Output • An International conference paper based on the result of task 1 • Release output of task 2 as a SAGE application
