Maxing Out Efforts • Total Professional Responsibilities (TPR) is the combination of all effort (e.g. administration, clinical research, and teaching activities) at both MUSC and the VAMC. • MUSC & VA TPR can exceed 1.0 FTE but not 1.5 FTE. • VA Effort must be ≤ 8/8 • MUSC Effort must be ≤ 1.0
