Sea turtles can lay up to 150-2000 eggs. When the female turtle wants to lay her eggs she digs a hole where she thinks it is warm enough and buries them. Once they hatch the baby turtles they run fast as they can into the warm water. Sea turtles stay in the ocean because of the tempter and all the little tiny little creatures that they can eat.
