  11. How do each of the plants adapt with the coral reef ? • The coral reefs like it when there is a lot of wave because the food goes by them so they eat. There are animals on the corals that are called polyps live in colonies, when they die a new one comes out and the polyps are the ones that eats, that’s what makes the corals grow. • The corals get eaten by animals and they can also be washed out on the shore when you look at it, it looks strange and mysterious, But that is the way they grow.

  12. Human activities that affect the coral reef • People pollute the water with the oil from the boats engines. • Some of the people throw rubbish in the water • When people go diving or snorkeling they might step on the corals and destroy them. • Some people who go fishing using nets or hooks can destroy the coral reefs by removing them from there place. • Bibliography • http://water.epa.gov/type/oceb/fact4.cfm /some impacts on coral reefs

  13. The Abiotic/temperatures • Coral reefs cannot be in temperatures that are lower than around 18 Celsius . • Bibliography: • http://www.thewildclassroom.com/biomes/coralreef.html • Coral reefs need the temperature of the water to be around or between 68-82 *F (20-28*c) • Bibliography • http://kids.nceas.ucsb.edu/biomes/coralreef.html • The region of Egypt is hot and dry like the desert. There are only two seasons for the red sea . 1. winter were it is warm and at night it is cool/cold.2, summer which is hot and it the rain rarely occurs. • Bibliography • http://www.redseaholidays.co.uk/redseaweatherandclimate first 2 limes .

  14. About the problems in the coral reef Do you believe human activities toward coral reefs are good or bad ?why? • I think they are bad, because it is destroying one of our important biomes. Also the species that are there are dying and losing there homes because of us. What can be done to prevent the bad human activities? • They can be more careful. Examples : when they go snorkeling they try not to step on the corals, when they go fishing they try not to be in an area where there are corals so they don’t destroy them • They don’t throw rubbish in the water so they don’t pollute the water / coral reefs Why do these activities happen to the coral reef? • Some of the coral reefs are sensitive so they break easily • some times people don’t take care what their doing or where they are stepping.
