Liverpool were the favourites coming into the match, but a horrible mistake would cost them the win. Suarez set up Liverpool’s goal, scored by Daniel Sturridge. It was his 50th career league goal, 24 of them scored this season. It all seemed to go well for Liverpool, until Kolo Toure misplaced his pass right into the path of Anichebe, who scored. Toure was only playing because both Agger and Sakho were injured. If Liverpool were to win this match, they would be four points ahead of there rivals, Everton. Liverpool have to play a tough match against leaders Arsenal. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said: “We are coming into the Arsenal match with our heads held high, hoping for a win.
