  4. I. DEFINITION OF LUST(Free Encyclopedia) “ Lust is a powerful psychological force producing intense wanting for an object, or circumstance fulfilling the emotion.”

  5. What is sexual lust? • It is sexual desires that have become illicit desires • Sexual desires are expressed in context of marriage only

  6. II.LUST OF THE FLESH. • 1 John 2:16 • “For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--comes not from the Father but from the world.

  13. HOW TO OVERCOME THE FLESH • Crucify the flesh with its passion and lust.

  16. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

  17. Do not feed your thoughts with Pornography, circular music, and x-rated movies. • Make a covenant with your eyes

  24. Those in relationships and are not married • Men should be careful how to communicate with ladies • Ladies should be careful how dress up in public

  25. Women should not dress sexy in public • They should dress modestly • Be careful with what you buy

  26. 5. Be controlled by the Holy Spirit • Romans 8:6

  27. “If your thinking is controlled by your sinful self, there is spiritual death. But if your thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace.” (ERV)
