Each participant is free to share his/her knowledge and experiences. Nazri 2011

Conclusion • Building capacity among youth in TC is vital to ensure that TC effort is • sustainable . • Interactive ways of learning attract students to learn more about TC and helps • students to understand the subject matter, to think creatively and participate in • decision making. • Based on observations after capacity- building workshop and follow-up programs, DBMH students : • Able to explain topics on TC. • More CONFIDENT (Leadership, • communication etc.). • Believe in their own capability. • More INDEPENDANT (designing own • programs and making decision) • Feel responsible to implement • SF school. Nazri 2011

  25. Recommendation • Proper pre and post evaluation need to be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of this program. • Potential for expansion to other schools in Penang and other states. It is hoped this group of students is able to bring DBMH to higher levels and be recognized as an elite TC organization in Malaysia. • DBMH’s aspiration : “We will get support, our vision is clear, we may sustain our effort and our voice will be heard not only in our school but throughout Penang and Malaysia”.
