Two types of Capacity Building : • Online - Open Source Online Training • On site - Workshops/seminars and forums

Online training objectives • To promote digital awareness on open source health information systems among healthcare practitioners • To provide initial and preparatory knowledge on open source health information systems • To disseminate the timely knowledge to learners anywhere, anytime and at their learning paces.
Conclusion • The role of UNU-IIGH in FOSS capacity building is significant in this era of high demand for healthcare technology. • Open source software is a solution to the overwhelming cost of healthcare particularly in developing countries. • Any collaborative efforts are most welcomed !!!
