UNU-IIGH Capacity Building Program

The UNU-IIGH Capacity Building Program aims to empower individuals and organizations to enhance their capabilities in addressing health issues and achieving objectives. This program includes online open-source training and on-site workshops, fostering digital awareness of health information systems. Our model—TRAIN, PLAN, REFLECT, OBSERVE—guides learners in developing essential skills. The program is crucial in addressing healthcare costs, particularly in developing countries, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure efficacy. Together, we can make a significant impact!

Capacity Building in UNU-IIGH Capacity Building : A continual process by which individuals and organizations develop abilities to perform functions, solve issues, set and achieve objectives which involves all stakeholders. Two types of Capacity Building : • Online - Open Source Online Training • On site - Workshops/seminars and forums

Online training objectives • To promote digital awareness on open source health information systems among healthcare practitioners • To provide initial and preparatory knowledge on open source health information systems • To disseminate the timely knowledge to learners anywhere, anytime and at their learning paces.
