  2. What is Home Access Center? • A browser-based Student System that allows parents, guardians and students to view information: • Registration • Attendance • Scheduling • Report card • Class work • Daily Summary • Interim Progress • Test Scores August 10, 2009

  3. Parents Want to Be Involved and Help Their Children Succeed. They Want to KNOW: how their children are doing in school if they are attending classes how they can help their children improve if their children have homework how they can be a part of their child’s day-to-day assignments August 10, 2009

  4. Parents Help Their Children Learn The Home Access Center provides quick Internet access to your children’s information. This secure system keeps you intimately involved with the day-to-day progress of your children. You no longer have to wonder what assignments they miss with an illness or family vacation; you can see for yourself. The more you know as parents, the easier it becomes for you to help your children learn. August 10, 2009

  6. What is Required? • In order to access e-HAC, the following items are required. • A computer connected to the Internet; • PC Browser requirements; • Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher • MAC Browser requirements; • Internet Explorer 4.5 or higher • A login account and password; August 10, 2009

Security • You have a responsibility to ensure that the username and password that is provided to you for accessing the Home Access Center is kept secure at all times. • If you believe your password may have been compromised, you have the ability to change your password on-line using the Home Access Center.   8. Privacy • Socorro Independent School District is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy as a user of the Home Access Center. The district only collects, stores and uses the guardian data and/or the student data that is accessed through the Home Access Center for defined district or state purposes. * Privacy Statement link will be at the bottom of every Home Access Center page.   10. Registering for a Password • All students enrolled to SISD will automatically receive an e-HAC password once they register in Socorro Independent School District CLICK ON LINK http://www.sisd.net August 10, 2009

  11. Accessing e-Hac • Go to http://www.sisd.net • Select e-HAC • Click on Login to e-HAC August 10, 2009
