More direct hires… • In 2010 85% of Capgemini Consulting’s new hires had a profile on LinkedIn. • The main focus for recruitment in 2011 would be “Digital Transformation” consultants. • The recruitment team all had LinkedIn profiles but lacked experience with Internet research and Social Media. • There were consultants in the business making use of tools like LinkedIn, Twitter and blogging already. • Capgemini has one of the largest Yammer networks in the world with over 30k members.

Capgemini & Social Media • There were already robust Social Media Guidelines available for employees: • http://www.capgemini.com/terms/socialmedia/ • “Be proud of what you do and enjoy a sense of accomplishment in the search for better quality and greater efficiency. Above all, please use good judgment, be attentive to others and take the trouble to listen and be understood.” • A global Social Media strategy was also in the pipeline.
