Introducing the bibMap • What is the bibMap? • bibMap tries to comprise the whole Topic Maps Technology Literature • at present: 202 sources and 96 persons (no categorisations) • How to deploy the bibMap? • available as LTM or XTM • http://www.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/~maicher/bibliography.html • load it into the Omnigator or • browse it online by Hendrik Thomas’ Topic Maps Visualiser: http://www.topic-maps.org/cgi-bin/tmv_graph.pl?id=b1&path=bibmap.xtm
Introducing the bibMap • What can I do with the bibMap? • use it for your literature research • all subjective things are left to you: • add them in your own Topic Map • merge it with the bibMap, • send your annotations, categorisations etc. to your colleagues • write your own application using the bibMap • Is the bibMap free available? • the bibMap is free, you can use it however you want • modification is not allowed (document your modifications in your own Topic Map and merge it in) • How the future of the bibMap looks like? • it depends on your contributions • please submit missing or new articles and recognised bugs
