  2. Introduction/Welcome (8:00 a.m.-8:15 a.m.) • House Keeping, Bathroom, Refreshments, and Lunch • The purpose of this workshop is to show how technology can be utilized to teach common core. • Why English and History teachers should collaborate to enhance learning of a concept.

  3. Intro Cont (8:15 a.m.-9:15 am.) • Purpose (Common Core Defined) • Rationale • Importance of Collaboration among teachers • To show how to use multimedia to help improve the cognitive learning in the classroom • The benefits of teaching History and English as a collaborative effort. • Break (15 Min.)

  4. Sample Lesson(9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. • Graphic Organizer (View) • Reading Development and Common Core • Discuss Standards • Common Core • Discuss the curriculum underpinning the series or the theme/content focus. • Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1:00p.m.

  5. Presentation(1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.) • Presentation on how why teachers should collaborate together. • Pass out handouts • Assessments

  6. Materials to Utilize in Class(1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.) • Websites that teachers can access that will assist them with the lesson. • Assessment • Resources for teachers • Survey
